I have this idea of getting 1/16" stainless steel valve cover gaskets made for my Predator heads.
That way I could just get them coated with Neoprene rubber & have a reuseable gasket
paper gaskets run $30 a set shipped for these silly heads and I need a cost effective alternative since I have solid lifters

do you guys think my idea would work or do you forsee any flaws?

thanks

working on that idea now. need to cut the molds then I can have the steel blanks laser cut. Not sure of the cost effectiveness yet.

My gaskets came back in stainless steel

Now I just have to coat them in Neoprene

I called Williams Performance about that and
they said it was too late since they already welded the valve covers up.
The grooves needed to be cut before the welding.

this was my next best compromise

Even better, now they have a place to bolt a plate to for tooling. So if they say they cant do it, they're not trying very hard
