We are thinking of maybe coming down and running in Fontana the weekend of the 24th and 25th. Just wondering if anyone here is planning on racing then?

...uh...pull the electronics out and run 8.60 or 9.60 at the ANRA event and save the trip over the Vine. www.ANRA.com

Sorry no place for me to race. The electronics stay in the car since I am trying to concentrate on the .90 stuff. 9.60 could be fun though, we ran a pass last time out with the car that I forgot to change the shift set up after I was checking it on RPM at 3300. Car shifted as soon as I let off the button. I ran it to just before the 1/8 cone anyway as I wanted to check the car out and coasted from there, went 9.56 at 69mph, guess I have the set up right now and boy would it mess up the other guys

Be nice if they would throw in a bracket class for the electronics guys at some of these events but I understand why they dont.

Contact ANRA and talk to Butch Hedrick the president...tell him I sent you. I BET he would let you run in lane 1 for some testing.

Not sure what the deal is on the 24/25th, but I'm racing on the 17th with SCEDA, which has electronics and no-electronics classes. They're out there both days, 17/18th. Also racing that weekend are S/E, T/C, and S/ST.
S/ST is what you're running, isn't it Al?
Maybe make the trip a weekend earlier?

Yes we run S/ST. I unfortuinately cannot make it down this weekend as to much work related stuff and my youngest has a commitment Saturday afternoon. Might go out Saturday night for our last nighttime deal for the year up here.
