My brother Dustin (Triple Threat) spent the weekend in Boise Idaho at Firebird Raceway's Halloween Classic. Ended up going all the way today and won the race, even went .000 in the 4th round to get the 5th round single into the semi's, and won the last two to take home the paycheck. Congrats bro

Congrats Dustin!! As much as you race you should consider a roll bar or cage.

Nice Job indeed. I still wanna see a ROC somewhere in the midwest.
I'm still all for it Lonnie. The 4 winners from this weekend had a run off for grand champion, I drew the Super pro winner (8.0 digger), I dialed tight, Treed him by .035 but was planning on running it out the back door , by the time I looked back and found him, realized he wasn't gonna get there and got on the brakes it was too late, broke out by .02
Found out after the fact the winner of the run off got an extra $2000 . Ouch I won't do that again, regardless of how fast the car is, I'm driving the stripe.

Nice job. I especially like the part about whippin the digger on the tree!!
There was no Crossover allowed in the run off, so the kid had to sit there on the button for 5+ seconds longer than usual, apparently it got to him.
why would they do that? waiting over 5 secs for the tree will make anyone late. I've had to give 5sec headstart in the 1/8th mile not fun but I did win

Not sure why they do it, but I can tell you I routinely give 5 second head starts and have to sit there footbraking on the converter at 3000, no 2 step, no nothing. Its all about focus, But I'm sure you know that.
