When I put a window in each side of the block

Good thing it was the last race of the year instead of the first race of the year. So if anyone knows of a "good deal" on a good after market block I may as well step it up for next year Dave needs something to keep him busy so he stays out of trouble

Russ

That sucks Russ. I'll keep an eye out for a block. Sounds like you kept it out of the wall hopefully? Where did it happen?

Sorry to hear about you misfortune but, like was stated before, at least you didn't hurt anything else.

This is the only thing I know of if it's still going on.

tuff break russ, glad you didn't hurt anything else. saw 2 friends colide at the local track yesterday when a tierod end on a r&p let go. extensive body damage to both cars but both guys are ok. now you will build a stronger, faster bullet, and it will be all about "YOU". good luck on the new build, i would think there are some real deals on stuff out there right now! dave

Russ,

I broke my engine in Clay City at the end of 2007. A carburetor base screw worked its way loose and went down # 6 hole, cracked the cylinder wall, ruined the piston and scratched the head. The previous year I broke a ring and pinion in my new dana. In 2005 I broke an axle on the first time trial in my old 8 3/4. My wife looks at me all crazy when I mention racing there again. I feel your pain
