These are the Mopar magnum aluminum heads( same as Edelbrock, and cast by Edelbrock , they just have the Mopar emblem and part number on them ). I need a pair bare. I wont be using the springs,valves, retainers and keepers from them, so I thought if I could find them bare and hopefully CHEAPER, then that would be nice. Thanks for any help.

For those that say " why dont ya just get the Edelbrock heads, they are cheaper "......the reason is these Mopar part number heads are the legal heads for use on a the 5.9 Drag Pak Challenger engine combination.

I was wondering when someone was going to build a 5.9 Challenger or use that engine in a SS/GT.

Teuton is running this 360 combination in his former Top Stock Duster as a Super Stock GT/FA car. Its basically a super stock 360 magnum engine with these heads and fuel injection. Its an awesome combination I think. I'd just like a set of these heads bare.

Learn something new every day! For some reason I didn't give the engine in their Duster much thought but was glad they could get that ex-Top Stock car into SS. It didn't take much time for him to jump on the opportunity!

best bet would call someone like Mancini Racing and see if they are available bare.

thats a vendor ship direct part # so it's hard to say how fast you could get a set...there are 3 dealerships showing up on the locator having them in stock..if your interested PM me here and i'll give you contact info.. ....ahh i didn't read your post close enough...obviously the part # you gave is a complete head..i'm not sure about any bare castings...sorry for the mis-take.

Careful there, the 3 dealers showing stock don't have the correct part number....they have the old number P4876624 which won't work.

Far as I know a bare head isn't going to happen through Mopar. Going to have to buy them complete and then sell off whatever isn't needed for the build....

Yep, of all the drag pak combinations the 5.9 is the sleeper of the bunch!

Rich is exactly right that part # does supercede..i should have looked closer at dealer connect..trying to take care of techs and do this probalby is a bad idea... ..i just didn't look close enough.just trying to help..
