it seems that every 3rd adjuster on my indy 1.6 rockers has an issue with the allen wrench fitting properly...they feel stripped or bigger than the allen wrench...And Yes, i have tried almost 7 or 8 different sets to find one that fits....i am so tired of Indy's Garbage products.. the big ticket items seem to be ok..it's the small details where they have dropped the ball...does anyone sale an Adjuster that uses a larger allen wrench..what about the ones on the HS rockers??? does anyone know what size they are...

same, after of course breaking about 4 of them and ordering new ones.. After about 6 months fighting with em I went with HS rockers.. If you go to big on the cam you'll end up with broken rockers.. That aren't that good.. Under 700 lift their OK after that trash..

The ones I am speaking of are the ones that came with my Indy rockers {a waste of money]

I cannot comment on those, I know that the Jesel's are a 5/32 hex, at least on the one's that are 3/8-24 threaded cup style adjuster's.

The newest style H/S adjuster is 3/16 hex adjuster.

I sell Manton , so I dont know about the Smith Bros., but I know of many people very happy with them as well.

I'd at least ditch the ones you have and go with something a bit better, whether it be H/S, Manton or Smith. All will be better than what you have.

We threw the indy rockers on the shelf and bought some T&D's. Problem solved.
I had more trouble with galling on the pushrod cup (small block application, solid roller)

I am running a small solid roller right now have not had any problems with galling as of yet I plan on going T&D when I step up the cam on the first freshen up.

I had the smae problem with mine , talked to Russ @ Indy ,with no help , he set it was my tools , I has tried snap-on , matco , etc. Talked to kenny @ INDY & he said they had a wrench and allen set that would work , tried and it did , no more problems. I am sure someone else makes it , and someone here on the board might know who the mfg is , so you can get it from someone else besides RUSS. It cost abot $35.00

Sounds about right !!! they make an adjuster that no one has the correct wrench for EXCEPT them and then after you spend 5K on their heads will sale you the CORRECT wrench to fit their own adjuster..!!! HOW AMERICAN !!!!!! i use to be one of the most loyal indy customers and soon as i get rid of the combo that i have, i will NEVER purchase Indy products again..HEADS,BLOCKS,NOTHING !!!!

I've never had a failure but you really gotta crank them down Tight to get them to hold....what's 'tight enough' with most other brands will almost certainly loosen up with the indys.
