Anyone have a closeup of the CORRECT red battery cap (not the white ones shipped by the repro battery manufacturers). I believe these batteries were originally made by the Willard Battery company, so it may be a standard Willard red cap of the 60s.

Just contact Jim Kramer, he sells the correct caps. Just got a battery and caps from him, but I don't have them handy to take pictures.

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

yes, the correct caps are $110 for six - trying to determine who is the actual supplier/manufacturer of the caps, at hopefully a lower price

I bought mine from Hemi Eddie, who sells for Jim Kramer. Think they were like $95/set. Very cool item if you need them! 65 Hemi's RULE

White & red are supposedly not correct - attached is photo of what I understand to be correct ones - with text 'Fill to Triangle' on top. Kinda a shame we spend 350 bucks for a repro battery with the wrong caps...
