I haven't done it, but I looked into it back when I was building mine. It's pretty much a drop in deal with the schumacher conversion mounts. Only things I can think of is the power brake booster is going to be in the way of the valve cover, so you'll have to get a small K car one or go manual. There will be no off the shelf headers that will work, but I remember reading a set of ones for a B body will work if you modify the tube for #7. Also the rear end will probably need to be upgraded if you have the 8.25, and definitely if you have the 7.25.

Schumacher has headers that fit the swap. They are spendy and not large tube, but they are better then manifolds.

I've done it. VERY easy IMO.

K car brake booster, rear half of a ClubCab longbox mid-late 70s Dodge truck, 8 3/4 out of a 66 B body with the spring perch holes opened up, late model "spool" mounts, milodon deep pan, I had Hedman hedders with the rear tube on the driver's side modified.
It was more or less a bolt in.

Anyone have any good close up pictures of a B/RB in a J body??? Can you still use the power steering box??? Some good pictures would be great..Would really like to see some of the headers and the radiator support...One guy told me i just need to dent the rear header tube...Is it that simple??

Thanks

My car was power steering, late model PS brackets just bolt on. I prefer cutting the rear header tube and rerouting it, mine was easy and fit with no problems.
I had the original J body rad opened up to a stunningy big.... (drumroll please) TWO core! lol Bever had any problems with heat whatsoever, and it was a daily driver.
