yakpenoose OP member Y Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 62 canada	i ordered 4.10 gears for my 489 case 8.75 in my 72 d100. the new gears are 10 spline on the pinion... i didn't count the splines on the old gear but there must be 30 of them... what gives? i went to the richmond website and they list 10 spline pinion gearsets for both a 741 and 489 case.... a few months ago i threw in a 3.55 sg chunk into the truck from a 1971 d100...will it have a 10 spline yoke on it?
