the core is partialy covered so i am not realy making best use of the core.there is about 1" on each end of the case that can be removed to have more flow thru it making it work better.[more area more cooling.the same would have to be done to the intake.the work would give me 8 more sq inches of cooling passage.the opening at the time is 3 7/8 x 12 3/16.i can also go 1/4 wider on each side to reveal another row of tubes on each side.12 in all.i may need to put o ring in to seal everything but i am going with more boost anyways next yr.
the cost will be small as i know a machinest out of work who is board.
