I need a couple new or NOS ignition switches & keys for 71 A-bodies, does anyone know if they are available? I'd prefer to give the business to a board member.

Thanks!

They aren't for my cars Bill so I don't know, I'll see if I can find out. Thanks guys!

*Parts stores have them? Never thought to ask (Duh!), figured they'd be obsolete by now

Scott,
I just thought about this .
do you need the actual electrical portion of the switch or the chrome key tumbler portion

He has both switches complete, the inner workings have failed on both (the cars start after you turn the kry all the way, but only after you let OFF the key). He'd like to change out the whole deal but parts to fix them would be ok as well I guess.

Are you sure that's the problem? Has he checked the bulkhead plug for corrosion or burnt terminals?

Yes, all of the wiring in both cars is brand new M&H stuff front to rear (except the steering column wiring) and the problem was there before changing it all out as well.
