The air cleaner says "Tri Power" and it appears to be a unit from a Mr. Norm's car.I'd like to know what air filter it has,I have one and would like a filter to use it.

It looked good from ten feet a way. It had dents from someone who used a hammer to make room for headers at some point and I had some bad wiring. The engine needed new paint so as I call it the "might as well" factor. New clutch, new motor mounts, oil pump, new gaskets, etc etc. Since the motor is out the air cleaner was signed by Mr Norm at his volo show two years back and it is a factory black (tx9) car. Thks ed

I made one I picked up one that was the right height and cut it to make it fit. I found a original one and the guy wanted $120.00 for it. That's just nuts. I will look for the part # I used and get back to you. ed

Good luck, Ed! I always liked your car, now it is going to be nicer?

Don't shoot me for saying this, but why not try Maaco. Those guys shoot paint all day long and many will tell you its all in the prep. Looks like you have done a lot. I would think they could spray it relatively cheap for you. However, the only question is if they will spray the exact color or paint you want them to for the price. Your other option is to do it yourself. You could also call around a couple trade schools. When I took a night auto paint class they were looking for smaller projects like that to demonstrate the proper way to paint a car without actually having to paint a full car which would take longer than the alotted time they had to teach. Call around, you never know what may happen.
