Sorry, welcome to the site first and foremost. If you lower the front of the bar it will move hit the tires softer(by your terms) I believe the correct terminology is that the instant center is moved forward when the bars are lowered in the front. If you wanna wheelstand move the bars way up in front, set pinion angle with left bar and preload with right bar. Good luck and welcome

Ladder bars have a fixed IC length, if you go up on
the fronts it hits the tire harder.... lower is a
softer hit but it sustains the hit longer

x2

you can try to control the wheelstand with the front shocks tighten them up(harder to extend). and even tie the front end down if it will work.

Its worth mentioning that softening the compression on the rear shocks will also lessen a wheelstand.

That the result I got when I dropped the ladder bar down 1 hole, didn't pull them up as high but held them up farther down track.

Did you mean softing the compression or the extension, I always thought softing the extention would lessen the wheelstand, please elaborate. Thanks

No I did mean the compression. It really does affect the wheelstand. Want it to stand up, go back there and tighten the compression all the way. Loosening the extension hits the tires harder but tightening the compression holds the tires where they extended to longer. Play with it thats how I learned.
