What about the rest of it? Is it a kit or pieced together from componants bought seperatly? If it's peiced together from seperate companants, what are the best types to use? Where is the vale placed, under the hood or in the car so it can be operated while in the seat?

best place to drill is in a carb spacer. If you don't have one you need to drill into the intake near the top where it meets the carb, 3/8 pipe or whatever your hose adapter is.
x2 i drilled mine to 1/8 pipe. screwed in a 5/16 barb fitting.
just run your hose to a ball valve within reach.

I use the port on the back of the carb. Rupert sells a nice lean-out setup.

Hey Alky guys, do you use your lean out valve for everything but the burn out and run?
do you start the motor with the lean out open?
My Terminator uses a shut off valve to lean it out, but i am unsure if i should use it while starting?
How high do you take the idle up when you are trying to put some heat in the motor??
Thanks,
Arnie

Arnie, with injection you should use the shutoff valve to lean it after it has started. To build heat I inch it out until I just hear some popping in the exhaust, that is close to stalling it, and usually gets me 2500 rpm. I use a cable from a semi truck that I can rotate the knob for a very fine adjustment, its really handy: http://www.awdirect.com/exterior-throttle-cable-15-foot-control-cable-vcgtx15/throttle/

Thanks guys!
Craig, so I would have the shut off valve fully open while starting, then slowly close it until the revs get up to 2,000 or more.
Where do you set your idle with the shut off valve fully open? I mean for after your burn out when you are staging?
If you are driving to the staging lanes do you leave the idle at 2,500 ?
Thanks for the education...
