Yes they will fit.I believe those are the taller spindles.Have them on my 65 B and its street driven and handles great even at over 120 thru the 1/4.Rocky

Thank you! I was hoping to hear back quick. I have a set and wanted to save some cash from buying a new set up.
Once I get the ones off the Challenger and compare- I will post what I find.

I have the '78 spindles installed on my '70 Challenger (fit great) and was going to buy new calipers. The original brake hoses for the front disc's ('78 Volare) are funky with lage brackets on them.
Is there a hose that works on the '78 caliper to the 70 Challenger mount?
I am trying to find out if Russell makes a hose that will work with the '78 calipers OR buy a different caliper that would bolt to the '78 bracket. Any help / experience, as usual, very appreciated!

Run your (pre '80) F-body calipers toward the front of the car and use '73-'76 A-body disc brake flex hoses.

Thank Dr!
I ordered and will get my new calipers Tues (one horse town) and match up the hoses. I'll post results.
Thanks again.

To do this (just discovered) I will need to swap the Passenger side spindle to the Drivers side....
At least that is how I installed them.
Are they symetrical (upper ball joint / spindle shaft / lower ball joint mount) where only the caliper bracket is offset?
Just want to understand before I swap them so that the caliper is forward of the front wheel (I have them setting aft of the rotor now).
Thanks

Dosent matter if they are mounted front or back. What ever is easier to run the hoses.Just make sure if you have sway bar that they dont hit turned.Rocky

Yes, you can swap spindles side to side.

Hose routing becomes more difficult if you run the pre '80 calipers toward the rear.

If you want to use an aftermarket hose, you can run '80 and newer calipers toward the rear. BTW, I stock DOT stainless flex hoses for this application. E-mail me if you are interested.
