Tear it down and check it out.
The oil dripping is just soot that is now covered in the over rich mixture you are getting into the engine.
I bet you will see gas dripping out the venturi area while running if you look down the throat of the carb

you should tear it apart and check everything...
make sure the gasket under the power valve is installed correctly, sometimes they will slide to one side or the other and cause an internal fuel leak...

Pull the needle/seat assemblies too and clean them up.
