Anybody know what this pistol grip is out of. I would like to use it in my duster. I also believe the tranny is A body. Could you confirm? Ill see what it can take behind 600 horsepower 440.

I just purchased it with a bb scattershield and plate included.

Because of the adapter plate, the shifter appears to be 1971 B Body Bench mount pistol grip, the trans certainly looks like A body,

The trans is A body and the shifter set up is from a 71 74 b body with out a console and typically a bench seat but the box and handle will work in an A body but you'll need the a body mount bracket & linkage but I have used the same handle and box and work fine.

As already siad, the shifter will not work with the trans, you can make the shifter work if you have the correct trans mount, shifting rods and levers for the A boody transmission Make sure on the bellhousing if it is a steel scattershield or a stock cast iron bell housing, also on the trans check to see if it is a regullar four speed or a three speed overdrive trans that looks like the NP833 four speeds

Here is a pic of the 71 Non console in my Swinger. The shifter mount needs to be off a 70 B-body, It repositions the shifter straight up, so that way you wont rack your knuckles on the dash....DAHIK..
