Anybody know what brand of shifter the three speed 426 63 Max Wedge cars used. I saw one at the Nats and they looked nothing the 383 4 speed cars. The shift handle was round. Were they Inland?

The 63 should be equipped with a Borg-Warner T-85 3speed trans and it should have a Hurst shifter on it. My first car was a 63 Dodge 330 Max wedge minus the motor, but everything else was intact. That was in 1971 and the ones I've seen since then had the same thing. I hope that helps you.

My 63 Plymouth max car shifter was round ( shifter shaft ), but pretty sure it was a Hurst shifter. It was also a D-O-G to shift. No pedal to the medal shifting with it.
