Check the pumps on both sets of carbs on the motor, make one squirt as you watch both carbs, one at a time of course
I have had a Carter carb role the side of the squirter skirt over which resulted in a partial squrt out of that carb
(Max Wedge motor ) Also look at the anti drain back valve in the side of carb accelerator pump well, they will get stuck open once in a while, especailly if they sit with fuel in them a lot often and the fuel evaporates and leaves a stinky residue
The last thing to check is the check valve under the squirter, make sure it is in there and it is loose so it will work properly
