Last time with W5s it was 555hp ,460tq.

Today with Chapman W9s it made 606hp, 490tq.

Same bottom end, camshaft and carb. Peak power and torque were 500rpm higher with the W9s.

How does this sound? 422" X block.

Just out of curiosty was that on a engine dyno or chassis dyno? Either way that is a good gain

It's 13:1 now, was 12:1 with the W5s.Camshaft is a Bullet Roller 276/282 around .670",109 lsa in at 104.5.
Made 600hp from 7000-7500.
peak torque is 5800-5900.

I have made about 20 passes with it but all were with a tighter converter and a tall deck W9 intake.Dyno passes were with a new 420 intake, wish I could have conpaired the intakes..

I don't know, sorry I'm sure someone will add it onto here soon I have heard anywhere from 15 to 30 % loss due to drive train friction Those are some stout numbers, very impressive

Stupid question... Is an X block an older version of an R3 block??? Sounds like it holds alot of power.
