i beleive that the "count down to one" was the worst thing nhra has done. just ask WJ what he has to say about it. he said a mouthfull at indy..

I would never say John hasnt been amazing in the sport, but there are MANY MANY more racers out there that have done and continue to do great things, and they dont get NEAR the on air time John gets. I just think its rediculous that He seems to be NHRAs biggest promoter of the sport.

Tired of the BS, late starts and mostly fuel car coverage. What was up with the stupid espn interviews tonight? thats when i shut it off. Now I'm watching family guy and on the internet. Looks like NHRA lost me as a viewer

remember a few years ago, one of Kalittas cars WON the race and didnt get a top end interview, instead they were focused on the countdown players.
i still think thats why Grubnic lost his Strivicten (sp) sponsorship, he wasnt in the countdown and got NO coverage when he did well, what sponsor wants to sponsor a sport that doesnt give coverage to thier car when it wins... Jim O wrote an editorial about it also...

NHRA stinks--Nascar stinks--Ok already I agree!!!!!---now go watch a GOOD ADRA race or something and don't give those guys your attention or $$--Hey go see a dirt track race --whatever-- Top Fuel is like an elephant--you can't describe it to someone --they have to see it to believe it but --seen one --seen 'em all-- --once is enough--life is short do something else! Go see Bonneville---go see Pikes Peak run--Go to Indy ONCE--Go see Maxton Mile in North Carolina--Go see offshore boats in Miami--Go to a bull fight--tell your wife you think her sister is hot--Lots of OTHER stuff to do for entertainment and fun--Sox ain't whipping them any more neither is Petty--there is other stuff out there guys!

If they wont interview the winner of each round unless
your in the final 10..... why show up for the rest
of the season....... it is the JF show and its getting
a bit much
