There is only 1 Detroit Locker. It is made by Eaton.

The unit comes assembled. If you swap it into an original third-member, you must press on bearings, install the ring gear and set the backlash.

I have had a Detroit Locker in my 63 for 2 years now. I like it alot but it will make some clunk noise when turning sometimes. No big deal as it mechanicly will unlock one wheel when turning and then lock it back in when straight. Sometimes I feel it unlock or lock back in but it has worked great for me. Ron

I'd look into getting my parts from Dr. Diff! That said, my lockers in both Dana 60 and 8.75 work great on the street, although I don't drive in the rain much.

Not sure if you're interested in them but I'm using a Powertrax Lock Right in my A-body 8-3/4.

Yes it has the slight clunking noise around slow turns too.

1970 FE5 Duster 360/904/3.91's SOLD 1973 TB3 SpaceDuster 340/4spd/4.10's SOLD Moparless for now but when the opportunity is right I'll have another one.

I just took the powertrax lock rite out of my Dakota and went with a spool. Was not happy with it, on powerful launches it would unload one side.
