Kudakidd OP master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 7,859 Witness Protection Program	I'm going to make a better carb baseplate w/ foam to seal to my hoodscoop (68 S/S style). The hole in the steel hood is round. Which would be a better style to use and modify as the center; a flat base or a drop base? Thanks in advance, KK.

MoparforLife Too Many Posts M Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 25,200 Upper Midwest	I use a drop base with a notch cut out for the linkage and a K&N Stub Stack. Ran back to back last Sunday: 11.46 with, 11.55 without, 11.43 with stub stack.
