i got 1 good launch with the ET drag radials[my fault not enough burnout]i had a lot of tuning with the new carbs but got it down track running very rich.my new best it 10.217/134.12 with a lesser 1.439 60'[the old 60' was 1.35 so i gane there also]i did get the car weighed and it is 3640 without me[235#]

the car would barely run from being rich.i had all the settings off.mainly the throttle blade gap. i finaly put some idle air bleeds in it to help but it needs more air still there before i can tune it better.i sofar ended up with 95# jets sq jetted so far from the 100 thay came with.

I had to downsize the jets in my tunnel ram with twin 1050 dominators (9375 non HP ) 12 sizes to get it close BTW, what size and brand are you running now and what was the old carb size and type?

i had 2x 850 holly 4781-c i believe and went to 1250 cfm 80532-1 hly i did no pulley or timing changes just the carbs.

here is my slip.i only made 3 passes all weekend.

i also had on some new tires going from 28x10.5 slicks to 295/65/15 radials and the rpm dropped from 6800 to 6500 in the traps even with the extra MPH.i am going to drill out the idle air bleeds another .005 and go to the no box bananza and try to do a real burnout.
