Wondering if anybody has ever put a 4150 carb on a 4500 intake?

I currently have a 4150 M1 on my motor and it seems to want more plenum, ie it goes faster with a 2inch open over a 1inch open, 4 hole, etc.

So I happen to have a 4500 M1 and the plenum looks bigger on it and Ive got an adapter.

What do you think? Worth trying?

I have the intake off at the moment, so I thought Id swap if it appears to be heading in the right direction.

Any thoughts?

Sure, it works pretty well. I use a Wilson 4150 to 4500 adapter which is a pretty slick.
