I see more and more racers with this style of aircleaner.
I would like to know more about them.
Anyone who has used one please chime in.

I am going to measure and see if it will fit under my scoop.

What do you want to know? I have been running them for years, the barracuda has one it is my fourth car that has used one. I do not believe in NOT running an air filter and these seem to do ok for me. As for pics I have some of the Barracuda

I would like to know how well they work?
Do they fit better than a normal air cleaner?
What makes the UNI the one for you and not a different one?
Are they hard to maintain?
Do you lose any performance?
And i guess anything else that might come to mind.

First off thanks for the compliments..In my case they fit, that is why I have used them. On the Valiant we originally had a K&N fancy Dominator filter on it. I decided to try the Uni I had and the car picked up almost a tenth and the K&N never went back on the car. The car went 9.11 with the K&N and 9.02 with the Uni. In fact the K&n is still sitting here in it's box.

Well i like what i am hearing.
I want an air filter that works, and i dont want to lose performance.
I also want one that fits.
I tried a MOPAR one that matched my valve covers,
and it was too wide or round.
Is anyone a dealer on here, and are there any deals on these UNI's?

Al, I should've looked closer at your filter at vegas.
What does it look like on the bottom? I mean, what does the mounting surface look like?

Glenn They are not low at all, just narrow. They have a flat base.

How much higher is the top of the filter above the bowl vent tubes?

I am also wondering if this filter will fit on my motor?
Does anyone have any measurements?

I bought mine direct from Uni Filter
It didn't hurt the performance at all and at 10 1/2" wide it's narrow enough to fit in most hood scoops.
