does anybody make a disconnect or a pig tail for a mini starter? I have a mini on my 440 and the wires are a p.i.t.a. to connect or disconnect , being they are so close to the block.

That's what I do also , but I was asking for a friend who has an A body big block and pro part headers and he's having problems with the wires. I thought I would ask if something was available like a plug in or pigtail arrangement. Thanks guys , didn;t find anything from Moroso.

Not sure if your starter has the extension block mounted to it... But on both applications I used the mini starter for I removed the bakalite & copper extension & there was more room & was easier to route the wires..

One other thing that might help,......
on mine I ran a small jumper that I made between the two terminals on the starter. Then used a Ford type solenoid on the firewall. This way there is only one (heavy) wire to the starter, and it is only hot when cranking. So in the event it does burn on the header, you don't short a main hot lead while it is running.
