With todays technology whats the best gear oil to run in a 8-3/4 rear with 3.91 ratio for best protection.

I used 75W-140 Mobile 1. I just changed out a couple of chuncks and called Dr. Diff. He reccommended 75 or 85 - 140 and Make sure the gear lube is GL-5 rated.
