i always carry a extra set of slicks and front runners to the track inside my trailer and want to get them up on the wall to save space.
i see they have those wall mounts with the rails for $209.00 which i think look ugly.
i want to mount my front and rears on the wall, who has the best bang for the buck?
thanks

Better make sure your trailer walls can handle the weight, not all trailer walls can.

My trailer has some, they are 1 inch x.250 thick( I think) flat strap with a piece of black pipe ( one inch diameter I think)welded onto the strap and a Moroso 3 inch long press in wheel stud welded onto the top of the pipe. There is a triangle gusset welded under the pipe to the strap and two # 12 or #14 sheet metal screws attaching the straps to the inner steel uprights. My trailer is a 24 ft. 10,000 lbs. GVW Pace Shadow car hauler, no signs of stress on the walls yet after 8 years of use. I might be able to get my 40 ford out of the trailer at the end of next week and take some pictures on them if you want Let me know if you do

It's not just the walls that may fail. The mount itself failed on a friends enclosed trailer. The constant bouncing of the trailer on the road fatigued the metal to the point his slick fell (mount and all) and only pure luck kept it from landing on his dragster. If he would have had a door car it would have been ugly.

Saw it myself, I wouldn't trust one of those things now.

i'm not fortunate enough to have an enclosed trailer but a fellow racer i know has & he has what looks like the spare wheel holders off the back of an SUV on his walls for mounting spare slicks on. i know he uses those plastic coolroom bolts to mount the fixure onto the wall as they're slim & don't ever rust & they're strong (they have to be, you ever see the size of the cooler assembly in a big chiller?)

From looking at your picture, I don't think you have a high enough ceiling to make it work very well. The rear slicks would be in your way when trying to walk around it.

On my trailer there are C channels built into the walls for T bolts that allow the tires to mount on the wall. There is a big carpet circle and a large threaded wing handle that holds the tire in place.

As mentioned you better make sure what ever you add, stays put otherwise your car could be destroyed by it.
