They build those in a coilover? I need a better shock for my Alterkation I think.

How come its always circle track technology making its way into our circle
I use circle track components and technology every chance i can on my Dart, its cheaper, proven, tuff and usually faster and simpler, of course i been into circle track racing all my life.

Seems to me that drag racing guys are all about power. The circle track guys are all about suspension and application of the power that they have.

Ding ding ding! We have a winner. AFCO called me up 2 weeks ago and asked me if I would try something new. They are trying to come up with a better mousetrap for nose heavy cars. Being the adventurous person that I am I said I will try anything once. They were so new that they didn't even have time to coat them. Thus the purple duct tape. All I can say is wow these things work. I have been to three tracks in the last two weeks and have yet to not have the tires over a foot off the ground. And this car has been deadly consistent. Something I have been fighting a bit lately. Even on a test and tune prepared (or lack thereof) track that was 127 degrees these babies got the job done. They asked how I liked them and I told them that they would have to rip them out of my cold dead hands So they built another set last week and took them to Indy. They put a set on Jason McCormack's stocker and it appeared to have picked up about .04 on his car. Thats a pretty substantial gain on a well built stocker. More news to come but the really cool thing is that these may end up being a good bit cheaper than the current double adjustable shocks.
Please let me/us know, when they are available.

x2... 'cuz I have the QA-1 R-series currently.
Or maybe I should ask what is it about the new shocks that makes them work better?

Rick I was using a 3860 shock body. These ones are 3850's. A little less extension but you would not be able to tell. Rick we need to get a set of these bad boys on your rod! OK so last night was nightime racing. What about day time? Went to Bowling Green today 1.352 4.000 6.270 107.92 1.356 4.005 6.299 102 (had him covered .003 bulb ) 1.355 4.004 6.275 107.87 (dialed 6.28 shoulda trusted the car wasted a .014 bulb 2 thou under more than him ) I am ready to kiss Eric Saffel at AFCO. I am trying to get some info on when these will be available. I don't know how much info I can give away yet but a keen eye can see an important piece of the puzzle in the picture.

I SOOOOOO wish my car was that deadly, it would probably help lower my blood pressure on race days haha. Upside down .....

I hear ya. My blood pressure will be a little lower going into the bracket finals this weekend. Its really making the driver look pretty bad Hopefully I can get in contact with AFCO tomorrow and find out where we are on getting these available. I know they want to look these things over after they have been on here for a couple weeks.
