Anyone from the St.Louis area use a local machine shop that understands Mopar Big Blocks and not small block Chevys.

Looking to get some crank work done.

I have some friends who use AMT in Ferguson for their Mopar needs. One in particular has a small block Dart (street car) that runs mid 10's on street tires and high 9's on a 125 shot. He drives that car all over and runs it hard all the time.

Call AMT & ask for Doug, see what you think.

They are a little ways away from St.louis but they seem to do good work, I had my crank and rotating assembly balanced by them. They built a few Mopar engines to compete in one of the Mopar Magazines, Check it out here.

I have also used Beiers Auto Supply for the last pair Mopar cylinder heads I had done.

They were able to help me out, did a very good job. Quality of the work impressed my Dad, which is hard to do. Good price, but I haven't been there in a few years.

I agree with Don. You will have a long grey beard before you get your stuff back from amt. Dan Smith does great work. If you cant get him try Bergman, Wunderlich Performance engines in Troy Mo. They also do great work. And they get back to you quick.

I am not familiar with J D Eng & Mach or Precision, but I am perfectly willing to believe that they are capable people. I used Mark Schaefer at Belleville Automotive for my last build. Very competent and on time. He also built an engine [ a 360 ]for a friend that ran mid 10's in a Dart at Gateway. A small family shop that stands behind their work, they also do crankshafts in house. Mark is a long time stock car racer and most of the engines they do are circle burners so they understand reliability. As far as I know all the rest mentioned have good reps. Dan Smith definitely knows mopar engines as well as anyone, his record speaks for itself.
