Need help all. Can anyone tell me what headers fit in a 68 roadrunner bigblock with edelbrock victors, head studs, and power steering. Also what size would be the best fit/match for my combo. It is a rb block 520 cube with edelbrock victors cnc'd to max wedge by Modern cylinder head. Comp xr 292 solid street roller. Indy 3x manifold. just under 11 to 1 comp.It will have mufflers and be street driven 75% and 25% race. I am planning change to a manual steer box in the near future so if needed no problem.
Thanks

I don't think anyone makes headers for the Victor head but the TTi headers for an Indy SR head might be close enough to work.

TTI makes a 2 1/8 stepped header that they list as working with the victor head. It's the one they list for a stage VI head as well, as both have the exhaust ports raised .250" and extended .300".
But, they also say you have to bend the passenger side header out a bit as they say as it contacts the block on that side.
Not sure why they don't just make the "adjustment" so the customer doesn't have to.

That said, I'm running hooker super comps with the victor max wedge heads on my coronet. They were already "clearanced" in a few places to work with the rpm heads heads and just needed a little more tweaking for passenger side torsion bar clearance when I switched to the victor heads.

70blackfish is running victor heads in his e body, but I don't remember what header he's using. Maybe he'll chime in.

My old Hooker 2" super comps fit the heads good with good spark plug clearance. I think they will fit the chassis OK because I am using a low deck 400 block, and the exhaust on the victor heads is not relocated as high as my old B1 b/s heads?
I hope to install the engine/trans this weekend, but I keep finding stuff that needs replaced in the transmission....

That's good info, I'm looking at maybe trying that combination in the future (low deck/2" super comps). thanks.

The Victor heads have their exhaust port in the identical location as MP Stage VI heads. I have the standard TTI 2" B/E-body headers on my 440 Challenger w/ Stage VI heads and they fit well. However, if they dropped down a little lower (like TTI's 2 - 2 1/8" Indy-type stepped header does), my driveshaft loop would have been easier to install.

Not sure about your headers, but DO let us know how this thing runs once you get it down the track.

G BOB were those super comps 2". and are you manual steer. If so would they fit with a power steering box.

For now and for the price i think i might try the super comps. Another question i have is would the 5209 2" or the 5210 2 1/8" fit better. The 2 1/8 look like a different shape and bends when you look on the web site.
