Every EGR code I have ever had on those has been just the valave. Propably done two hundred of them. I'd run a continuty test from the connector to the pcm just to make sure though.

They have a wierd egr on those.You get the valve and the egr together.I check for vacuum to the valve then pull vacuum on the egr.If it has them it needs replaced.99% of the time it needs replaced.Rocky

I agree its more than likely the EGR.I believe even at the dealer they are cheap like 50 bucks or so and they have a vacuum part with them.I probally changed 50 at work.Rocky
