My Charger still has the original yellow paint on the front clip/frame where the factory undercoating wasn't sprayed. I was thinking of painting under there chassis black-or should I leave it original?
Would it be worth more to some future buyer if they could see the original paint or not? or is all black just fine?

Why paint it if it's in good shape? A car is always worth more un-spraybombed to ME.

You are asking us if it is worth more to leave it original, or change it to something never done by the factory. That yellow should be looking real good right now.

the reason I was thinking of painting it is the yellow is starting to get thin and small spots of surface rust the size of a pen mark are showing up.

If it was me and I was concerned about the microscopic surface rust, I'd clean off the rust with Comet and a rag and then spray some WD40 on it.
