caper OP mopar C Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 525 Can , Nova Scotia , Cape Breto...	I just reringed my engine. I had Total Seal rings in it , I noticed the chrome moly peeled of in spots. What caused this to happen? Also on the side of the piston nearest the spark plug , the piston land just above the top ring is very rough for about 4 in . What caused that? Detonation, to lean, makes the Moly and the piston tops melt Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
