I have a keith black pump and 50 weight oil. I went to prime pump, and it stopped the drill, had to use a 1/2 impact [120#] is that right?

No reason to even use a drill. Just use a speed wrench and spin it by hand. You only have to spin it about 20 times for full pressure.

TDC split overlap oils the passenger side rocker arms on a big block then rotate the crank 450 degrees and oil the driver's side.

oh 120 with a big pump cold with 50 weight would be about right that would stop a 3/8 drill. I use a 1/2 like others best I ever got was 100 # on the drill but for start up heaviest oil I ever used was 20/50.
