Does anyone know of a stock type idle solenoid that has 3/8" or greater travel? All makes of cars or trucks considered, just need at least 3/8".

How about adapting a power door lock solenoid... They usually have greater than .5 travel...

Just get them new at any alarm/stereo installer, nice small cheap, I think I paid like $5 last time I needed one.

Parts stores all need an application, anyone know what might be adaptable? 1/2" stroke or more, and adjustable are my only requirements.
