i have a 1968 dodge coronet model 440, i have converted to R/T , i spent 1 1/2 years finding all the correct factory and nos parts to put back this car to factory specs, i have gotten to the dash, the 440 has a chrome strip running along the top of the dash above the cluster, radio, and glove box, i have a standard non-ralley dash, does any body have a close up picture of a 1968 dodge R/T with a non-ralley dash? i got a ralley radio plate and glovebox plate however i can't seem to make this work,

I don't know 68, but 69 R/T's came with either the standard or ralley dash. Standard dash has R/T on it. Ralley dash parts don't mix with standard dash parts.

i am learning this the hard way, what glove box plate and radio plate do i use for R/T, the 440 has clear plastic cover and has coronet 440 on it, in 68, r/t was not on the dash from what i have been told and seen in books, i really need to see a close up pic of a 1968 Coronet R/T with a standard dash.

build the right way, that wld be great if you could shoot me a pic of your standard non-ralley dash, i am trying to figure out what goes over my cluster and what radio plate and glovebox plate i need,

hey 1 wild rt, this is actually like my dash, i have that same chrome piece running the lenght of the dash, it seems that the radio plate i have and the glove box plate i have are for the ralley dash, i need the black radio plate and glove box plate, where do i go to find these pieces and what is the proper names of the pieces that i am needing, i figure out i need the correct radio plate and the correct glove box plate,

i have seen these r/t buttons, the real ones are very rare, these are cool

from the picture, it looks as though my chrome piece along the top of cluster is put on first and then the radio plate goes on top of the chrome piece and the glove box plate goes on top of the chrome piece, i cannot get the ralley dash radio bezel or the glove box bezel to fit over the chrome piece and look right,

FWIW While you search for original R/T trim you could probably just use the std Coronet dash trim & just paint in gloss black...

that 68 speedometer is different then mine. so which dash are you going to use? the early 68 or the late 68.

Hi. If I may offer a suggestion?... The 1970/71 VG Valiant Pacer (Australian) dash/tacho, looks very similar to the R/T pics you have on here. Maybe they might swap in, and might be a little easier to find?
