I just purchased a 318 with j heads runs High 12's. The oil looks pretty bad The previous owner ran straight30W at 50 lbs of Oil pressure. I ran a Wix filter on my 440. Could someone give me a part number for a filter and what weight oil do you guys like to run in your SB'S

Use the same filter. I would run 15/40 Rotella.

Or run the 30wt Rotella.
