Looking for input on which intake would be best and make the most power or are they pretty equal? I'm currently running an Edelbrock RPM Air-gap because it was build as a street/strip motor but we are going to take it off the street and just race it next year.

318 with K-1 4" crank, making 390cid, eagle H-beams, ross flat tops, with 11 to 1, will probably bump up the compression by shaving the Edelbrock heads.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Strip Dominator is hard to beat for standard port heads.

There's probably very little difference between those intakes.

A Victor 340 would be my first choice.

Likely mine also, with a weiand excellerator a super close second

There would be some difference if the strip dominator was highly modified like the one I have in my garage that has about 40 hours worth of port work done to it that I would be willing to sell you

I haven't done any dyno work on the SB combinations but the Victor 340 sure looks like a better intake than others I've seen. The M1 intake has the new style thermostat housing which can cause problems in some installations.

Wade I'm with Don on this. The Weiand 7545 was .15 faster than a Strip or Street Dom. on my old 340. It gets my vote.
