in the dashboard.i need to replace it.i am not getting power to the blower.the power port is dead belowe it also. can some1 help me get it out?

Check the blower resistor they go bad all the time. Your blower should have power to it all the time(key on) the resistor supplies the ground to get your different speeds.

The resistor is on bottom of hvac housing right above passenger feet area, almost at firewall.

i dont see anything but plastic under there.i will try to fallow the wiring better maybe it will lead to it.

i back probed the fan plug blue wire and got 14.5v on both sides of it.it looks like the fan is bad.

Replace the resistor.It supplies ground and if its bad it can have 500 volts and not run.That and if the motor is bad it should be replaced anyway because they arent a very sturdy piece.That and they are a lot cheaper than a motor.Rocky

i am going to try to jump the grnd from the plug and see if it is the grnd.i should use a fused wire though.i will try to make 1.
there are some heavy storms moving through so i may have to wait even though i am in a carport.

The blower motor resistor may be out under the cowl panel under the hood and it is the normal cause of your troubles.

i dont see it under the hood.could it be behind the glovebox?
or do you mean up by the windshield?

Look through the louvers in the cowl. Yes it could be behind the glove box. My book only goes up to 99.

It is inside under glove box. you will have 12v at both wires to the motor if your resister is bad. As I said before the motor has 12v w/key on all the time the resister supply's the ground for the different speeds.Just buy one from the dealer and look under the pass side dash for the same connector.
