There were three plants that made 1968 GTXs. I believe the "A" and "G" plants had the same badging location. The "C" plant has a unique badging to the car with extra badging.I have not collected information on 1968 GTXs in about 25 years, but I have only come across ONE 1968 GTX built at the "C" plant that had a Hemi from the factory.

Sorry we had a few Tornados deside to visit tonight and the Hydro Power has been out since 7:30 and just came back on at 11:30.
Yes I have a few pictures of the Car from the "C" plant. Anyone that belonged to the National Hemi Owners in the beginning would know this car. It was owned by National Director Lennie Wilson. I do not know if he is still involved with Mopars or even owns the car anymore.Last time I saw the car, it was at the Nation Hemi Owners Meet in Syracuse New York in the summer of 1990 when Mccannix and I went with his 1971 Hemi Cuda to the show. I will try to find the pictures I have of the GTX. What I remember is it had a Rectangular Belvedere Badge on the front fenders just before the wheel wells. I believe if I remember correctly the car had the 426 badge like the 1967 B Bodies in the same position as the 66-67s, just before the door line on the front fender. The GTX badging is just in front of the rear wheel wells just like all the rest. The GTX of Wilson's looked all original including paint.

Sorry, I don't have too many pictures and she is not quite finished yet. I will take more at a local car show tomorrow.

The decal set i bought had instruction/template with it. I think I got it at Dante's. There are usually sets of side GTX emblems on ebay all the time.
Love them 68 MOPARS! GTS 340 auto, Charger R/T 440 4-speed, Superbee 383 auto, GTX 440 auto, D100 (new front frame 5.7 hemi - in process), Formula S 340 4-Speed A/C (it's green), 383 auto Roadrunner (maybe a hemi - waiting) and a 68 W200 Power Wagon. Drivers: 07 Cummins and 14 Ecodiesel 4x4.

I measured the Emblem location for you. The lower edge of the GTX is 9-1/4" up from the lower edge of the panel. From the door opening (front of quarterpanel) 10-1/2". On my car the stripes are measured at, 11-3/8" to the TOP of the TOP stripe from the lower edge of the rocker panel. I wouldn't get to hung up on the stripe measurement. I'd center the stripes on the GTX emblem. Here's a link t a E-bay item, 68' GTX with LOTS of picturres of the emblems and stripes.Dave http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...RK%3AMEWAX%3AIT
