Well, I converted my '66 Satellite to manual steering, it is an original floor shift car with Power steering column. I have another steering column out of my '66 Belvedere which is longer for the manual steering, but is a column shift unit. Can I just put the longer shaft from the manual steering column into the Floor shift column? Thanks, I'm planning on tearing into this tonight so I can get the car moved back into the shop.

Yep, just swap out the center shaft. Take a look a the shear pins on the inner shaft while you're at it.
