My 65 Satelite was running hot so I pulled the rad and brought it to a local shop they want $488 to recore it. That seems a lot higher than I expected. Looks like 22" replacements are not available, but 26' are for about $300. Any problems using a 26" with a 22" opening? Summit has an aluminum cross flow for $329, but I'm not sure what to do about a fan shroud. If I go with an electric fan that means an alternator upgrade so the cost for the rad, alternator and fan will be over $500 anyway. Thoughts?
Thanks

No way 488 to recore it. I'd get a new one that fits & looks good in there
