He is talking about compatability with race fuel pumps.

I don't know but there are guys on turbomustangs.com using E85. You might give them a shout.

Base your pump on the same factors as gas BUT use
the 30% greater flow as the minimum and you'll be
more than fine
PM me so I can get your engine specs and I can figure
your fuel demands

Yes I'm talking about the fuel pump for the car.

Nascar uses a billet mechanical piece that supplies their 830 hp engines. They said If I use a CV products red diaphragm it won't be a problem. They just can't give me an answer if the E-85 is gonna affect the pump, and if it does how long it will last, they said " I don't think it will bother it" The diaphragm is only like $25. So if I have to replace it once a year I'm thinking no big deal. Just wanted to see what other people were using and what is out there. Cause if I start going thru diaphragms once a month I'll buy an electric.

I am 2 years on my Holley black 150s, I have a pair
of them in parallel. E-85 has 15% gas in it to act
as a lubricant for seal life... with the studies we
did at Chrysler it had very little corrosion aspects

I think nascar's pumps are in the trunk and cable driven.
