The MP mini starter on my Duster is statring to go out. I have read some earlier posts and I see many of you use small starters that you get at a parts store. I checked online for a starter for a 2005 Dakota with a v-8. They range from $125 to $165. I can get another MP Mini for that price. What year starter and what chain store have you used and can you give me an idea of what you paid. Out here we have Pep Boys, Napa, Auto Zone and O'Riley(CSK).

I got mine used from a 1990 dodge truck with a 318. Been using it for two years with a 496 with 12-1 compression. No problems.
