I have to take an exhaust system apart, but the tubes are crimped tight from the u bolts, is there any tricks to get them apart, or is it prety much heat and twist?

If the tubes are crimped its very hard to get them apart....Dont tighten the clamps so tight nest time.

Take care,

I think JC Witless has a puller that clamps onto both sections then you crank the bolts to pull each clamped section apart. Or acetylene torch(heat & twist)

I find the best way is to simply cut the pipes in a straight area and when you reinstall use a butt connecting band clamp.
