Today I noticed that the air grabber position on the underside of my hood is about 2" forward of the air breather cover. I thought that there might be a problem with this position but in speaking with a local Mopar guru, he said that they were all like this.

Now if that is right, why would the Chrysler engineers do this? Why would they offset the positions of the air grabber and air breather cover?

Anyone else check theirs?
