recently acquired 65 Dart roller. PO put in the spring relocation kit(on the inside of the rails) & as is the rear shackles are pointing straight down. I believe these are SS springs also. Should I redrill & move the springs rearward to get them pointed rearward & if so how much. thank you for your time.

are thay longer than stock shackles?
how is the tire clearance?
a 4:00 angle would be good on the shackles to thr rear.

say the frame shackle eye is 12:00

the spring eye should be in the 4:00-5:00 position

with the car at ride hieght and chassis loaded full weight

there is a pic of the angles in the mopar chassis book for referance

Well those springs are super stiff.

I put ESPO 1" over springs in my 68 Dart, and had the same result, at the beginning.

Once the car was finally fully assembled, some gas was put in the tank, and the springs settled some, and they will, all was well.

my experience

I was wondering about that if they'd be too much for a daily driver as that was the way I got it & no eng/trans in yet
