Since its winter we put a two extra cars in the barn making it very tight to move. When spring starts coming around and we can move the two cars out and i can get the car out of the corner i will take some wvmarv Polishing trim it a pretty simple concept, but it can be time consuming depending on how nice you want it. If you have a bench grinder you will need to pick up some buffing wheels for it, and some polish to apply to it (you can find the stuff at any home improvement store). Apply your polish to the wheel and move it back and forth. You will have to play with it to get the best results. In addition for the best results you will want to sand it with some 1500 and then 2000 and go at it again

I painted up my front drip rails, this was a big hold up in getting the front trim on(which i need to get pictures of)... I had a nice ashtray but the plastic was broken on the outside. I took the nice metal part on the left and the plastic out part on the right to make a really nice one unit piece. This was very hard to do given the rivets location... I got the power plant on the engine stand and getting it ready to go in. Its a 440 that my dad and I built 7 years ago and had it in a car for 20 miles or so then pulled it, its been sitting ever since so it needed a home in the bee... Starting to stripe it down for paint, i have some better heads that i will be throwing on it... Motor Mounts before... after new rubbers and repainting...

The rear was an original 71 B body dana, then someone moved the perches for an E body and it doesnt fit... Pulled it out... Cut the old perches off and put on new mopar ones, just to find out that the hole for the stud on the leaf spring is too big. So i got some correct size washers to fix the problem and welded them in place... Put the rear back in to center and set pinion angle... More to come soon

Dropping the motor into place... Its nice to finally see a motor in her 3 years later Here is a shot of the all the trim on now... And painting the bell housing and misc. motor parts...

Due to some terrible rain that we have been getting lately the barn was starting to floor which pushed the install back awhile... But i finally did get it in, which means that i could measure the rear end to get the proper pinion angle... After setting it to 6 degrees i tacked the perches on and pulled it out to weld up the entire thing.... The welds sure look alot better than factory Stay tuned more to come...

The car looks beautiful, I know first hand how hard black is to get to look like that. Hopefully when money permits I can get my hands on a '70 Challenger and do the same. Can't wait to see it all finished, detailed, and out in the sunlight!
